Watching The Corn Grow

Sometimes, when I'm bored and cant break this damn writer's block even with an icepick, I like to review my referrer logs.

What constantly amazes me is how I end up on the bogrolls of so many different bogs and I dont even have a clue such an event has occurred. So let me take a quick moment to thank everyone who sees fit to stick a link to this humble niche in the internet on their own page. Thanks, I do appreciate it even though I am not socially adept enough to always acknowledge my appreciation.

That being said, I would also like to inform the RIAA that they dont need to come back. Yes, one of my referring sites was www.riaa.com and I can only assume it's the nefarious Recording Industry come sniffing for illegal downloads. Guys, the only down load you will find here is the stuff that keeps rolling downhill....you know it only rolls one way....

I also seem to have gotten a hit from Al Sharpton's site, Carol Mosely Braun's site and Dick Gephardt's site which I find interesting because Ive only mentioned these fine folks in the slightest of passing. This may actually be standard operating procedure amongst all bogs....they probably have someone on the payroll whose job it is to look up every single word written about their candidates. It is also highly likely that every other bogger in the bog-o-sphere except for me knows this and are unimpressed when they get a hit from these wannabe presidential candidates. That would not surprise me because a rule of thumb in the Mr. Helpful Book On How To Live Life is that, on a need to know basis, I am NEVER among the needy.

Well, thats about it for the interesting referrers. Geez...I guess THAT was just as boring as anything else Ive done tonight, eh?
