No Rest For The Wicked

You know, you spend your whole life toeing the line, staying on the straight and narrow, wishing the best for everyone around you, praising where praise is due, helping with a hand up not a hand out and what does it get you?

Well, if you're me, it gets you the non-envious task of having to directly follow the devil's representative on earth, VelociMan, and become responsible for writing the final chapter in Christina's blog novella.

You see, several weeks ago, in a burst of feistiness, Christina came up with the idea for a blog novella; to be written not just by one blogger but six. Each chapter would be written by a different blogger. Christina wrote the first chapter and I was chosen to write the last chapter. Here is the novella progress so far (my advice is to print out each chapter and then read them the same way you would read a typical book...it will make so much more sense that way)

Chapter One: Christina/Feisty Repartee

Chapter Two: Eric/Straight White Guy

Chapter Three: Rob/Gut Rumbles

Chapter Four: Jack/Random Fate

Chapter Five: Kim/Velociworld

So it's up to me to finish this sucker off. This will be a difficult challenge for two reasons. Reason number one is Kim is a no good, four flushing, ratbag, cross eyed, drug addled, syphillitic, whore chasing, worthless sack of monkey shit. So I've got that going against me as anyone who reads Kim's brilliant Chapter Five can attest.

Reason number two is the nature of the blog novella itself. Nearly all stories have a basic structure, that being a "beginning", a "middle" and an "end". The middle allows the writer to move the story along and set the stage for the end. The blog novella definitely has a beginning but it wont have a middle and I am tasked with bringing the whole thing to a close without crashing the plane in the process.

There is nothing wrong with this...in fact, it's just the nature of the beast especially when you consider the five previous writers spent a chunk of their time setting up the next person in the chain. And, boy, did Kim set me up. Bastard.

Heh heh heh....

By the way, dont realistically expect Chapter Six before Sunday for reasons other than Kim's devious deviance. It just so happens my super secret Internet project is winding to a close over the next three days so all my spare time will be devote to that effort although I may find time Friday night to see if I can climb out of the hole that Kim dug for me.

Stay tuned....

Well, darlin', it's all done, but for the cryin'.

Or in this case, will that be laughin' or cryin'.

(Remind me again, wasn't it Mr. Helpful who said early on in this blog novella that it was a damn good thing you didn't go first or you would have given Eric a sci-fi something or other to keep up at night...)

Yep, I thought so. ;-)

Sunday, huh?

Hmmmm.

I have faith. YOU are the man for the job!

Good Luck and happy tales...
